Our presence impacts the neighborhoods where we work. Sometimes doing a little extra to ease concerns comes back to you in unexpected ways. Word gets around, and you never know where your next referral will come from.
There is so much for me to like in this photo of the tile starting at the Cathedral. for fail-safe water proofing, peel away latex scratch protection for the tub, and a laser control line for accurate layout and to avoid silly little cuts. Proper preparation prevents piss poor performance!

Here’s our solution when our client asked for a 24″ overhang for their Silestone countertop. We recessed a 3/8″ steel plate flush with the top of the island cabinets and hid angle iron and plate legs on the outside of the sink cabinet. The legs are bolted to the floor joists so the whole thing can’t tip over. The plate will be 12″ back from the edge, so it will be barely visable once the counter is set on top.
Window restoration ongoing at the Cathedral project. Removing decades of paint build-up, swapping out old for new hardware and reglazing hundreds of panes will have these looking (and operating) as good as when they were first installed.
