Preserving History, Elevating Performance
This prominent home in Capitol Hill DC is a mix of Renaissance classicism, Romanesque Revival, and Beaux-Arts. Originally designed by noted architect Clement A. Didden, all original details were painstakingly restored. The floorplan was updated, and all new mechanical and electrical systems were installed. Existing structural components were exposed to create visual interest. Solar panels on the roof and detailed insulation and air sealing make this home net-zero.
