Established in 2005, AllenBuilt has a reputation for constructing projects that emphasize details, durability, and energy efficiency. Our portfolio demonstrates our wide range of experience and different project types.  On one hand, we have expertise in historic preservation and restoration; we love to bring new life to structures that have stood the test of time, including Revolutionary War era homes and iconic landmarks like the Washington National Cathedral. On the other hand, we enjoy the challenge of modern design, which is complex in its simplicity. Getting crisp alignment of finishes demands exactness from day one.

AllenBuilt has been a proud Phius-certified builder since 2018. Phius certified homes are at the forefront of energy efficiency and healthy building.  They have the most rigorous third-party inspection process of any voluntary program. AllenBuilt incorporates that same quality control procedures into all our builds. AllenBuilt has diverse clients ranging from family homes, to businesses and institutions, non-profits, and government agencies.  We find joy in meaningful projects that are highly challenging, artistic, and environmentally thoughtful.
